Geneva Park District Events, Fests In August
As the summer wind downs, the Geneva Park District will have plenty of fun and free events planned for families.

With their skillful instrumentals, creative cover mashups, and new songs that blur the line between country, pop, and hip-hop, The Ethan Bell Band has been humbly compared to their influencers – Zac Brown Band and Florida Georgia Line. Their first single, “Party Bus”, is gaining buzz as the band tirelessly promotes their release at local radio and internet stations. Their first EP will drop next year. NEW FOR 2018 – Each concert will feature food for sale from Deane’s Market & Deli and Graham’s Fine Chocolates & Ice Cream. Plus, don’t miss the beer tent featuring beer from Penrose Brewing Company. 2018 Concerts in the Park are sponsored by the Shodeen Family Foundation, The Chiropractic People, Graham’s Fine Chocolates and Ice Cream, Penrose Brewing Company, Deane’s Market and Deli, and the Kane County Chronicle.

Flick n Float – “Wonder Woman”

Geneva Friendly Seniors’ Monthly Luncheon

Teen Night – Color War

National S’mores Day Campfire

Fitness Demo Day

Try out a variety of FREE 30-minute fitness classes on Saturday, August 11! Demos will be held at Sunset Community Center unless otherwise noted. Classes are open to ages 14 and over. Sunset Dance Company Placement
August 12, 1:00 - 3:00 pm

2018-2019 Sunset Dance Company Placement will take place on August 12, 2018 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at Sunset Community Center. Please bring a water bottle to the placement event. Placement is open to dancers ages 5 and up. All levels are welcome. Register at genevaparks.org using registration code 3210334. The Sunset Dance Company offers an inviting atmosphere with affordable instruction for dancers ages 5 and up. Company members study and perform at a higher level of expectation, taking three or more dance classes a week. The Company performs at a variety of events, and participates in competitions. Back to School Festival
