Stone Creek Mini Golf Opening Day

Saturday, May 4

Stone Creek Mini Golf opens for the 2019 season May 4 at 11:00 am (weather permitting)! Bring your friends and family to play a round or two with Buy-One-Get-One FREE admission today only! Stone Creek Mini Golf will be open weekends through June 2-- Friday from 6:00 - 10:00 pm, Saturday from 11:00 am - 10:00 pm, and Sunday from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm. June 3-7, Stone Creek will be open daily from 4:00 – 10:00 pm. Regular summer hours begin June 8, when Stone Creek will be open daily from 11:00 am – 10:00 pm.

Wheeler Park Greenhouse Open House

Wheeler Park – Located off Stevens Street in Geneva

Join us for a FREE behind-the-scenes peek at what happens inside the Wheeler Park Greenhouse, and see what is growing for the upcoming season. Plus, meet Geneva Park District Horticulturist Rich Kator, ask him questions about gardening, and get ideas for your own gardens and plant beds. Great for all ages and fun for the entire family! To reach the greenhouse, enter Wheeler Park from Stevens Street and follow the road down the hill and past the maintenance buildings.

Butterfly House Opening Day

Saturday, May 18

Visit the award-winning Peck Farm Butterfly House and be captivated by hundreds of butterflies as they fly, feed, and land around you! The Butterfly House is open the third week of May through the third Saturday of September; weather permitting. Hours are Monday – Saturday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and Sunday from Noon - 5:00 pm. The Butterfly House is closed on Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. Suggested Donation is $2 per person or $5 per family.

Sunset Pool Opening Day

Saturday, May 25

Sunset Pool is the ultimate summer adventure and it opens for the season on May 25 (weather permitting)! Splash into fun with a variety of great features including an aquatic playground, climbing walls, water cannons, water slides (1 tube slide, 2 body slides, 2 drop slides), a zero-depth play area, lap lanes, sand volleyball courts, and more.

NEW FOR 2019! The Geneva Park District is pleased to announce the addition of a sprayground at Sunset Pool! The sprayground will replace the sand area and play structure previously located east of the main pool. The new interactive water sprayground will feature a variety of squirting, spraying, and splashing features that will keep children cool and having fun all summer.

Highlights of the new sprayground include the Swaying Palm™ with dumping coconuts, Spin Flower™, Baby Long Legs™, Water Flower™, Mushrooom Maze™, Aqua Arch™, and super soaker Water Rings™. Children will also enjoy a variety of other active elements throughout the park, including a Push-Me-Pull-You squirting feature,™ the Hollow Log, Lilly Frog, and squirting Split Pea.

Be sure to stop by the Palm Tree Cafe when you get hungry or thirsty. The concession stand offers refreshing cold drinks, ice cream, hot dogs, nachos, and more! Enjoy your food at picnic tables or on the grass. Lockers and showers are also available.

Entry to Sunset Pool is $9 for residents and $14 for non-residents. Children 2 and under are free. Save money and purchase a pool pass! Pool Pass holders receive unlimited enjoyment of daily swims, lap swims, parent & tot swims, and all pool events.

The City of Geneva and its surrounding communities are bursting with emerging talent – everything from dancers to singers, jugglers, bands, magicians, and more. The Geneva Park District is proud to join forces with the Geneva Chamber of Commerce to showcase that talent! Plus, the winner of Geneva’s Got Talent will receive a cash prize!

Semi-Finals: June 19 from 6:30-8:00 pm on the

Geneva’s Got Talent is a competition for all ages, and is open to residents and non-residents. Registration AND completed Application/Waiver are required to audition. Register online at genevaparks.org before May 31.
