Geneva Residents Can Learn About 2030 Strategic Plan At Upcoming Meeting
Geneva's 2030 Strategic Plan is developed with broad community input.
GENEVA, IL — Geneva residents and business owners are invited to learn about the direction the city is taking with its 2030 Strategic Plan at a meeting at 6 p.m. Sept. 17.
The 2030 Strategic Plan will focus on six guiding principles: strong governance; informed residents; purposeful growth and economic vitality; a safe, active and welcoming community; environmental stewardship; and quality infrastructure and services.
Hosted by the Strategic Plan Advisory Committee at the Geneva Public Library, the event is designed to be engaging and information as attendees learn about different aspects of the plan, according to a news release. The evening will start with an overview presentation and be followed by opportunities to examine the city's priorities, progress and performance indicators for the six goals.

The strategic plan serves as a tool for the city to identify goals, prioritize resources and guide development. Feedback from the meeting will help SPAC determine next steps and future outreach efforts, officials said.
