Geneva Schools to Get New Lunch Payment System This School Year

PushCoin will replace the school district's old lunch payment system.

Geneva School District 304 will implement a new lunch payment system, this school year, which is meant to offer more payment options and ways for parents to monitor what their children are eating, and the nutritional content, according to the Daily Herald.

The current system offered by the school district requires parents to submit payments by 8 a.m. but PushCoin will allow submission until right before lunch, the Daily Herald reports. PushCoin also has a smartphone app and accepts credit cards or electronic checks, according to the newspaper.

The new system will be in place at the high school by Oct. 14, at the middle schools on Dec. 1 and at the elementary schools on Jan. 5, according to the Daily Herald.
