Geneva Sophomore, Jacob Yehling Wins Gold at the 2016 JO Mens Gymnastics National Championships

Jacob Yehling who is a sophomore at Geneva High School traveled last week to compete in the 2016 Men's Junior Olympic Gymnastics National Championships in Battle Creek, MI

After two days of competition, Jacob had a combined score of 161.90 to win his first All Around National title in the 15yo. Jr. Olympic age group. Jacob also was the National high bar Siver Medalist and also placed 6th on Pommel Horse. Jacob has been in gymnastics since the age of 3 and currently competes for Premier Gymnastics Academy West in Oswego.

Lastly, Jacob's teammate Evan Perreault who also is a sophomore at Geneva High school, was the National Pommel Horse Bronze medalist. What a great weekend for our Geneva boys!
