Geneva Utility: Ignore Old Leaf Collection Insert

Geneva residents who received a 2018 leaf collection insert with their utility bill the week of July 15 should disregard the information. The insert was inadvertently sent out in error by the City's bill printing vendor.The old insert was distributed to nearly 2,700 Geneva customers who generally live south of the Union Pacific Railway tracks and west of the Fox River.

City staff caught the error July 19 and managed to stop the old insert from being included in the remaining 75 percent of the current utility billing cycle for July and early August.The 2019 leaf collection schedule will be announced in the fall and published through the City's various communication channels, including utility bills.
