Geneva's Fox River Cleanup Day Seeks Volunteers

The Fox River Cleanup Day is planned at two locations in Geneva.

GENEVA, IL — Geneva's Natural Resources Committee will host its annual Fox River Cleanup Day Sept. 19.

Clean-ups are planned in two places, one ideal for people willing to get muddy and wet in the Fox River, and the other good for those wanting to stay dry. For the former, they will meet at the Fabyan Forest Preserve parking lot, accessible from Route 25 just south of the Fabyan Windmill. The second group will go to Island Park, 2 E. State St., at the spillway near the playground.

This map details work locations and nearby parking options.
