The Vikings came out on top during the match Thursday night against the Willowbrook Warriors, winning in straight sets, 25-14, 25-12.
Geneva found the holes through the block, capitalizing on that, and not allowing
Willowbrook’s defense to react in time. Ally Barrett came out swinging adding 6
kills to Geneva’s victory. Megan Schmidt totaled 6 blocks keeping the momentum
for the Vikings throughout the match.
Grace Loberg continues to help Geneva offensively as she gained 3 kills against Willowbrook’s defense and steps up in the back row totaling 10 digs. Kelsey Wicinski continues to perform as a solid defender, totaling 18 digs against Willowbrook.
Geneva is playing in the Glenbard West Invitational on Friday, Sept. 20, and Saturday, Sept. 21.
