The Geneva Middle School South cross country team had an outstanding day Saturday at the Troy Invite, which included more than 40 schools and races with more than 300 runners.
The sixth- and seventh-grade boys put on an awesome display of running, placing first and second as teams, respectively, winning trophies that are now on display at the school. Both the sixth- and seventh-grade girls teams placed eighth overall, and many of the eighth-grade boys and girls ran their personal best times at the meet.
