A Golden Night under the Golden Arches for Clinton Rosette

Clinton Rosette Middle School teachers serve students and families at McTeacher's Night to raise money for 6th Grade trip

DeKalb | Clinton Rosette Middle School students gave teachers an A-plus on their fundraising efforts to support local education and their school.

Seven teachers from D428 volunteered behind the counter on Wednesday, April 3, at the DeKalb McDonald’s located on E. Lincoln Highway., where they served students and their families in a fundraiser for Clinton Rosette Middle School.

Teacher Rachel Honeyman wore the pie box costume while teacher John Murray sold the pies. The proceeds from the sale of 160 pies went directly to benefit the 6th grade Field Trip.

“We are proud to serve the families of the Clinton Rosette community and through the McTeacher’s Night event. In addition to helping provide financial support for our local schools, we help students feel connected to their school, their teachers and their sense of community.”

Lardas donated a case of apple pies to the school for sale at the event. Inspired by the success of McTeacher’s Night, Yanni Management has set their sights on partnering with other schools in the Dekalb area.

“Teachers Campbell, Marquez, Minik, Jones, Murray, Meier, Honeyman, and everyone who rolled up their sleeves in support of this event” are the fabric that strengthens our community,” Lardas said.
