Graham's 318 Coffeehouse Plans Expansion

The 2,200-square foot coffee shop on South Third Street is looking to add over 3,500 square feet of space.

GENEVA, IL - Graham's 318 Coffeehouse in Geneva is looking to expand.

The popular coffeeshop at 318 S. Third Street in Geneva has began the process of seeking city approval for its planned expansion. The Kane County Chronicle reports:

Owner Robert Untiedt is seeking city approval to expand for more seating and a doubling of the production area for pastries, gelato and ice cream. The expansion will be in the back of the building so as to maintain the historic integrity of the space, officials said.

The Geneva City Council in February approved a conditional site plan that calls for two-story, 3,515-square foot addition onto the rear of the building, which is currently just over 2,200 square feet, according to the newspaper. He has also gotten an OK from the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Historic Preservation Commission.
