Local teachers serve students and families at McTeacher's Night to raise money for Benjamin - Evergreen Schools
West Chicago| Benjamin Middle and Evergreen Elementary School students gave teachers an A-plus on their fundraising efforts to support local education and the schools PTO.
Over Twenty- Four teachers volunteered behind the counter on Thursday, April 11th, at the West Chicago McDonald’s located on North Avenue, where they served students and their families in a fundraiser for the Benjamin Evergreen PTA School.
Mr. Mike Fitzgerald, Principal of Benjamin MS, Mrs. Laura Pfanenstiel, Principal, and Allison Agres, Assistant Principal of Evergreen Elementary School all worked during this fundraiser for the schools, took pictures with the students and helped deliver meals to the families. Teachers Greenhagel and Rosignolo tended the apple pie box during the night. While teachers McGinnis and Allerozzo sold the pies alongside them. They all did a fabulous job raising funds for the PTA.

“We are proud to serve the families of the Benjamin - Evergreen community and through the McTeacher’s Night event. In addition to helping provide financial support for our local schools, we help students feel connected to their school, their teachers and their sense of community.”
Lardas donated a case of apple pies to the school for sale at the event. Inspired by the success of McTeacher’s Night, Yanni Management has set their sights on partnering with other schools in the area.
“The Principals, Assistant Principal and everyone who rolled up their sleeves in support of this event” are the fabric that strengthens this community,” Lardas said.
