When you attend summer festivals filled with scores of food offerings, it can be challenging to find something healthy to eat, especially if you or a member of your family needs vegetarian gluten-free options.
If you’re looking for a healthy meal or snack to enjoy at this year’s upcoming Swedish Days festival in Geneva, June 17 - 22, be sure to stop by the Fox Valley Jewish Neighbor’s food booth, on the northwest corner of Third and Campbell streets in downtown Geneva.

Participating in Geneva’s Swedish Days event is a major annual fundraiser for Fox Valley Jewish Neighbors (FVJN), a Jewish community group and religious school, which serves Jewish and interfaith individuals and families in the Tri-Cities and beyond.
In keeping with FVJN’s dedication to serving healthy food at Swedish Days, FVJN is adding Qrunch Quinoa Burgers, to the menu! These gluten-free vegan burgers were generously donated by Target in St. Charles.
Chipotle black bean veggie burgers, jumbo kosher hot dogs, Bob's Pickle Pops, dairy-free ice-cream sandwiches and all-fruit frozen fruit bars from Trader Joe’s, dark chocolate covered frozen bananas and bottled water
In honor of the 65th anniversary of Swedish Days this year, anyone age 65 gets one free bottle of water throughout the event, at FVJN’s booth (limit one per person per day)!
This is FVJN's 8th year running a food booth. The first year was spent in front of The Little Traveler in Geneva, where they started out selling only chocolate covered frozen bananas.
FVJN hosts religious services, holiday celebrations, family programming, adult education and social events, volunteer projects in the community, and is home to Fox Valley Jewish School (FVJS). Over 300 Jewish and interfaith households in the Tri-Cities participate in and benefit from FVJN. More information is available at fvjn.org.
