Join the Forest Preserve District of Kane County on Sept. 24 to plant trees, collect seeds, and more.

Join the Forest Preserve District of Kane County for National Public Lands Day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sept. 24 to work towards preserving and restoring the nature of Kane County.
National Public Lands Day is the nation's largest single-day volunteer event to help public lands. Volunteers will join staff from the Forest Preserve District of Kane County to enhance the public lands at Burnidge Forest Preserve.
Volunteers will plant trees, collect seeds, create a seedball, and clear brush. There will also be live music and exhibitor booths to learn more about conservation efforts in Kane County.
