How to Subscribe to Geneva Patch's Daily Newsletter
We'd like to you log in and watch Geneva Patch 24 hours a day. But given that's not always possible, the daily newsletter is a great way to scan for your favorites.
Here's a little secret.
If you haven't done so already, subscribe to Geneva Patch's daily newsletter. (And please, for heaven's sake, tell a friend.)
It's super easy. (1) Click on that button at the top right of the home page that says "Get the Patch Newsletter." (2) Enter your e-mail address.
Find out what's happening in Genevafor free with the latest updates from Patch.
Done!
That's it. All very primate, not intrusive, heart-healthy. But we hope habit-forming.

For me, it's addictive.
Included here are some screen shots of that incredibly-complex two-step process described above, plus a sample of what the newsletter looks like.
Why get the newsletter? Well, I'd rather you log in to Geneva Patch several times a day, or better yet, just monitor it 24-7 without sleep. (That's what I do.) But as an alternative, the newsletter gives you a chance to peruse headlines and choose what you like.
It also highlights announcements, like obits (death notices), which I think is handy.
The cautionary tale, however, is that you shouldn't rely on the newsletter solely for your info—because you'll be a day late on the most-interesting stuff!
One final plug: Log in so that you can (a) comment and (b) exploit Geneva Patch for your own good purposes. We love announcements and events posted by you. And if you add a photo and shoot me an e-mail, it's often something I can highlight by posting in the coveted "major feature" spot at the top of the home page.
I think the Frankenstein monster (many of whose parts actually came from Geneva, IL, as legend has it) said it best: "Geneva content good. Fire bad."
Something like that.
