Illinois Tornado Relief: How You Can Help
Here are a few ways you can help the victims of the April 9 tornadoes.

Tornadoes cut a path of destruction through Fairdale, Rochelle and Belvidere, small-town communities west of the Chicago suburbs, on Thursday night. This is how you can help:
- Follow Fairdale, IL Tornado Recovery on Facebook. Updates on needs and ways you can help will be posted here.
- The Rochelle Foundation is accepting financial donations for assistance. Visit rochellefoundation.org.
- The Summerfield Farm and Zoo in Belvidere, a rescue farm for animals in need of homes, was severely damaged. A GoFundMe page has been set up to collect donations toward repairs.
- You can direct your American Red Cross donations to Illinois tornado relief efforts.
- The Salvation Army also acceps financial donations online. To donate by phone, call 1-800-SAL-ARMY.
