John Stewart Elementary teachers flip for McTeacher's Night

Local teachers serve students and families at McTeacher's Night to raise money for the SchoolActivities Fund.

Elburn | John Stewart Elementary School students gave their teachers an A-plus on their fundraising efforts to support local education and funds for general activities fund to offset costs for participation prizes and student incentives.

The amazing teachers from John Stewart Elementary School volunteered on Thursday, March 5th, at the John Stewart McDonald’s located at 932 Center Ave., where they served students and their families in a fundraiser for their school.

The Elburn community has an amazing network of support for their schools, McDonald’s was busy the entire evening!

Owner/operator John Lardas donated a case of cookies to the school for sale at the event. Inspired by the success of McTeacher’s Night, Lardas has set their sights on partnering with other schools in the area.
