Kane County to Host Recycling Event This Weekend

You can safely dispose of electronics like Christmas lights, computers, keyboards and more at the St. Charles event.

The Kane County Recycles Event will be held on Saturday, between 8 a.m. and noon, at 540 S. Randall in St. Charles. This free event is for Kane County Residents only.

You can safely recycle electronics at the event including, Christmas lights, computers, keyboards, laptops, printers, televisions (any size or age), stereos, cell phones, microwaves and more. Volunteers will unload the electronics for you.

You can also drop off books of any age and condition for reuse or recycling.

Only electronics and books will be accepted at this month’s event.

The next document shredding event will be Saturday, March 14, from 8 a.m. to noon at the same location.

Hazardous waste or large household appliances like washers and refrigerators will not be accepted.
