Local Schools Plan to Reopen Friday

Extreme cold closed most suburban schools over the past couple days.

Several local students will be headed back to school Friday following two days off due to the extreme cold.

Here is a look at what local school districts had decided as of early Friday morning regarding the status of school on Friday:

Geneva Community Unit School District 304 schools are expected to be back in session Friday. ”In the event that weather conditions warrant a change, notifications will be sent prior to 6:00 am on Friday,” according to the school district’s website.
Community Unit School District 303 schools plan to open Friday. Check the school district’s website for more updates.
