I'm great with a puppy pad.

I live with a senior dog
She likes to keep me in line
I will miss her when I go
I'll do my best not to whine.

There's no complaints through the night
I keep things quiet and dry
I've been sleeping in a bed
If I don't...Audrey will cry.

Star - Female, 35lbs, 7months old

Meet my shadow Star. Star is a well behaved young lady looking for a family. She has a BEAUTIFUL patchwork style coat that is just stunning.

Inside the house she can be found wherever the foster mom is. She is calm and gentle inside the home. Most often can be found lounging somewhere nearby either sleeping or chewing on hard plastic bones. She has never picked up any shoes or personal items to chew. Sometimes she finds a squeaky soft dog toy and boy does she love to hear the sounds.

Outside she loves to run and play so a fenced yard would suit her best.

She has not quite mastered potty training. She would do best in a home where she can be let out early mornings and often throughout the day. She is so close to becoming the perfect in-home pet. She does not like being crated. She has free roam throughout the home when the fosters are there and crated minimally when schedules overlap.

She would do well with other dogs and small children. Unknown how she would be with cats.

Christopher Pit Bull/Lab/Boxer Mix, Approx. 60 lbs., Approx. 1-2 yrs old

Christopher came to our rescue from a high kill shelter in TN where his outlook was not good, being that the Pit Bull breed is illegal to own there. We brought him here to IL in hopes of finding him is forever family!

Christopher is a young pup with lots of puppy energy still. He loves to play and run. He would do well with an active family that has a large fenced yard and likes to go on walks/runs. Christopher gets along well with other dogs and does well with children of all ages. Christopher would do best in a home without cats.

Christopher is crate trained, housebroken and leash trained. He has basic house manners and training but would benefit from continued training to make him a great canine citizen.

Christopher has a gorgeous blackish grey coat that make him the utmost handsome of Pit Bull pups. Along with his dashing looks, his sweet demeanor and his adorable personality, he will make a great family pet!

Van Gogh Black Lab mix, Male, Currently 11 wks. old

Hello...my siblings and I made a long trip from TN to IL in search of a wonderful new life..I have been with a foster family and have had exposure to cats and other dogs and am doing well with them..

Life certainly has been busy since we arrived! We've had lots of new smells and new fur friends and kids. I am loving my chewies and treats for going out to go potty.

I am doing great in my crate at bed time and using pee pads when inside. I have lots of energy but do enjoy a nap and snuggle time. I think kids are great and lots of fun because they like to wrestle and be on the floor with me. I am hoping to find a family of my own to call home because I will make a great family dog!!

DaVinci Black Lab mix, Male, Currently 11 wks. old

Hello..my siblings and I made a long exhausting trip from a TN shelter up to IL..now I'm living the good life with new fur friends and a loving foster family.

I am learning/experiencing so many wonderful things...snow and cats and tidbits that fall off the counter and warm laps they call snuggle time..I am doing well in my crate at bedtime and potty training has been started with pee pads and frequent trips outside which are ok cause i get a treat when i come in!

I have lots of energy as most pups do and and love my toys and chewies. I

would love to find my fur ever family. I am doing well with other cats/dogs and kids and I will make the perfect family dog for someone!!

Gigi is a 1 year old Chocolate Lab mix weighing approximately 55-60 lbs. She is a sweetheart looking for her forever home. She gets along well with both small and large dogs, as she currently lives with a 6 year old Pomeranian, and a 1 year old Lab mix.

She listens well, and does well in her crate. She is house trained, but she will not tell you when she needs to go, so she should be on a schedule. She is not protective of her food, but will eat nonstop if given the chance.

Gigi's favorite activities consists of cuddles and giving lots of kisses. She loves to play, but only in short bursts followed by a quick nap. She does okay on a leash, but prefers shorter walks. She will sleep in her crate at night, but prefers to sleep in the bed.

Meet Milo Beagle Mix 5 yrs old

Hello! My name is Milo. A 5 year old lovebug err I mean Hound Mix from Tennessee. I love being outside in the fenced in back yard running around playing with my foster sister or playing with my squeaky tennis ball! My foster sister and I both love chasing squirrels back up into the trees. We tell them to stay where they belong by barking at them from the base of the tree!

My foster mommy says I'm a sweet boy and I aim to please. I know how to sit and I'm eager to learn anything you want to teach me! I'm housebroken and will simply go sit by the door when I need to go out.

I spend the day in my crate while my foster family is at work. I'm excited to see them when they get home, because that means we get to go for a walk and play more in the yard. I do well on a leash, but there are so many new smells here, I can't help trying to take it all in.

I love being snuggled up with you on the couch, and ear scratches are the best!

I sleep in a crate in my overnight, but I'd be happy sleeping with my pack too. Can I go home with you and be your snuggle buddy?

Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.
