Afternoon Tea – Monday through Saturday in March

Lunch & Tour – Wednesdays in March

Elgin Symphony Orchestra's Beethoven and Shostakovich – March 3 and 4

  • ESO favorite William Wolfram, piano, will perform Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3 on these concerts at The Hemmens Cultural Center, 45 Symphony Way, Elgin. Chicago-area guest conductor Edwin Outwater, known for his sensitive musical interpretations, will conducts the 4 program, which includes Dmitri Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 12. 3/3 at 7:30 p.m.; 3/4 at 2:30 p.m.

Kiwanis Bowl-A- Thon Fundraiser – March 10

  • Kiwanis Club of Geneva will come together with area Kiwanis clubs to host this exciting event, to be held at the St. Charles Bowl, 2520 W. Main St., St. Charles. Whether you roll strikes, spares or even gutter balls, everyone has a blast at Bowl-A- Thon. This major fundraiser directly benefits the Kiwanis Neuroscience Research Foundation, which is dedicated to combating spastic paralysis and other diseases of the central nervous system. Mom & Son Night – March 10

Egg-Mazing Race – March 23

  • Join Geneva Park District for the Egg-Mazing Race and Night Egg Hunt for teens ages 10-16 at Wheeler Park. Starting promptly at 5:30 p.m., teams will need to solve a series of clues and challenges scattered around Wheeler Park in order to find the bunny hiding in the dark. Be one of the top teams to complete our mission, and win a variety of prizes including gift certificates to local restaurants. Don’t wait, pre-registration is recommended by March 22. Wrap up the night with a good old-fashioned egg hunt, where you will scramble through the dark to collect as many eggs as you can! Eggs are filled with a variety of prizes and candy. Please note: participants must bring his/her own flashlight and bag for collecting eggs. This event is held rain or shine, so please dress appropriately for the weather. Egg Hunt – March 24

  • This Geneva Park District event is free. Over 5,000 eggs will be scattered across the soccer fields at SPRC. There will be two designated egg hunt areas: one for children ages 4 & younger, and one for ages 5 & older. Don’t be late! The hunt begins promptly at 10 am, rain or shine. Elgin Symphony Orchestra's Brahms and Elgar Variations – March 24 & 25

  • This program features Elgar’s Cello Concerto, arguably the most exquisite concerto ever written for cello, performed by the 2016 Sphinx Competition winner, Thomas Mesa at The Hemmens Cultural Center, 45 Symphony Way, Elgin.
