Marklund Pancake Breakfast This Saturday

Marklund will present its 5th annual Pancake Breakfast this Saturday, Sept. 12, at the Marklund at Mill Creek campus, 1S450 Wyatt Dr., Geneva, Serving times are 8:30-11 a.m. in the Hyde Center building. In addition to the breakfast, attendees will be treated to a car show presented by members of the Fox Valley Corvette Club will be in the front parking lot.

The breakfast menu will include flapjacks served up by Elburn firefighters, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, assorted pastries and cereals, and various beverages. Open seating is available.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $5 for children under age 10.

As a special highlight for the event, the car show will feature various vintage, restored and brand new vehicles for all to see. Owners will be on hand to provide information about their cars. The show will be held weather permitting.
Those who attend the breakfast will also have the chance to take part in drawings for many gift baskets, several having unique prizes such two Southwest Airlines vouchers, tickets to a Chicago Bears game, an overnight stay at the Westin on Michigan Avenue, and a Canopy Tour in Lake Geneva.

Advance tickets are being sold and can be purchased through Thursday on Marklund’s website, www.marklund.org/pancakes. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
