Marlowe Middle School Gets New Principal
Anthony Venetico has been selected as the next principal of Marlowe Middle School.

The Huntley Community School District 158 School Board has approved hiring Anthony Venetico as the next principal of Marlowe Middle School. Venetico officially took over as principal on July 1. Since 2015, Venetico has served as assistant principal of Carleton Washburne Middle School in Winnetka.
Washburne is a seventh- and eighth-grade building well known for its high academic achievement, commitment to student wellness, and strong fine arts and extracurricular activities, according to a news release.
Prior to his work in Winnetka, Venetico was a math teacher at Barrington High School and Notre Dame High School.

“We are thrilled to be welcoming an administrator of Mr. Venetico’s caliber to Marlowe Middle School,” said Dr. Scott Rowe, incoming superintendent of Huntley 158. “From our applicant pool, he stood out as a leader who is focused on academic achievement, school culture, and serving the needs of all students.”
Venetico holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Loyola University Chicago, a master’s degree in education from Benedictine University, and a master’s degree in principal preparation from Concordia University-Chicago.
