Mill Race Inn Plans Get Green Light
Apartments and townhomes could be built at the former Mill Race Inn site.

GENEVA, IL — The Geneva City Council gave preliminary approval to a developer Monday to redevelop the old Mill Race Inn site, the Daily Herald reports. The city council voted 6-4 in favor of allowing as many as 120 apartments, eight townhouses and 2,000 square feet of commercial space to be built at the site at State and Bennett streets. Details regarding the site are still being sorted out and will need to get the green light from city staffers and the plan commission.
