Mosquito Spraying Scheduled For Friday, Saturday In Geneva
Spraying is scheduled to take place from dusk to dawn starting on Friday July 27 and continuing through Saturday, July 28.

GENEVA, IL – Geneva’s mosquito abatement contractor will be spraying an application of insecticide citywide on July 27 to control the adult insect population, according to a news release. Spraying is scheduled to take place from dusk to dawn starting July 27 into Saturday, July 28. Clarke will be using a synthetic treatment that is safe for humans and pets.
People with asthma and other respiratory conditions are advised to stay indoors with their windows closed during the misting application and one hour afterward. The spraying will be rescheduled if rain or high winds enter the forecast.
