GENEVA, IL — Multiple repair and maintenance projects are planned this fall for the Third Street Commuter Parking Deck in downtown Geneva.

The cash boxes will be temporarily relocated from the west stairwell to the sidewalk as commuters head to the Third Street station. The parking deck elevator may also be taken out of service during the painting of the west stairwell.
The last project on the docket is to make repairs to the parking deck's fire suppression system, which will consist of replacing pipe and general maintenance. A scheduled start date has not been determined, but the work is expected to take three days to complete.
The city plans to share an update when more information is available.
Overall, the parking deck will remain open throughout the various repairs, except for a few parking spaces being coned off during the fire suppression project.
