Smallcakes: A Cupcakery opened at 117 W. Main St., Suite 120 in St. Charles on Sept. 12, according to the Smallcakes Facebook page.

This is the second Illinois location for the Smallcakes franchise. Naperville also has a Smallcakes location.
The cupcake business is currently serving up 15 signature flavors, which are made daily, and two signature flavors that are also made each day, according to the Kane County Chronicle. Information on signature flavors can be found on the Smallcakes Facebook page.

In the future, there are plans to offer cupcake milkshakes, treat items and seasonal items, the newspaper reports.
