New Fast-Casual Pizza Restaurant to Open in Geneva

A new fast casual pizza restaurant is slated to open in Geneva next month.

doughocracy Pizza + Brews is slated to open in late October at 407 S. Third St. in Geneva. Owned by Chicago Franchise Systems, which is the parent company of Al’s Italian Beef and Nancy’s Pizza, the business announced the opening of the Geneva location Tuesday, according to a Doughocracy Pizza + Brews press release.

The pizza franchise also plans to also open a doughocracy Pizza + Brews in University City, Missouri.

Customers to doughocracy Pizza + Brews will be able to select one of 10 signature pies or build their own. They can select from freshly made pizza sauces and from more than 30 toppings. The pizza is then put in a high-powered, high temp, high tech double deck oven, which cooks the pizza in 3 minutes, according to the news release.

The business will also have several locally-brewed craft beers on tap.

“doughocracy Pizza + Brews has been in the making for years, as we refined the concept and created our signature recipes that we’re thrilled to bring to the masses,” said Dave Howey, president of Chicago Franchise Systems. “Pizza is an American favorite, one we know well with our experience with Nancy’s Pizza, and we’re thrilled to expand with a new franchise concept that delivers the freshest ingredients, a unique store design and a memorable customer experience that brings pizza to a whole new level.”

The Geneva and Missouri locations are the first the business plans to open “with a number of new franchise locations on the horizon,” according to the news release.
