Agricultural harvesting in Costa Rica is performed primarily by migrant Nicaraguan families. Nicaragua plays and cherishes baseball in the same manner and passion as we do here in the United States. Regrettably, Costa Rica does not share the same passion for baseball. The core goal of this project is to provide the baseball equipment and resources desperately needed to the Nicaraguan laborers so they may enjoy baseball, as well as the dignity, sportsmanship and momentary escape from labor it provides; by enjoying the "ultimate American" past-time called baseball. A simple sport that we can provide through the generosity of our American friends, partners and sponsors.
