Ooh La La Chocolate 5K Held This Weekend in Geneva
All Chocolate Kitchen in Geneva is hosting the 5K in downtown Geneva on Nov. 8.

Internationally acclaimed pastry chef, Chef Alain Roby of Geneva’s All Chocolate Kitchen, will be hold his first annual Ooh La La Chocolate 5K this weekend in Geneva.
The run will wind through the streets of downtown Geneva and end at the world famous All Chocolate Kitchen (A.C.K), 33 South Third Street. Runners will be met at the finish line with a custom finisher medal, an All Chocolate Kitchen sweatshirt, and a chocolate experience provided by Chef Roby himself. The event will take place on Sunday, Nov. 8.

The 5K will benefit The Chef Alain Roby Culinary Scholarship, which is presented by the Zellmer Wellness Foundation. The scholarship is for senior high school students who are interested in a career in the culinary arts and have successfully lived with Type I diabetes. The scholarships online application will become available the first Monday of January 2016 and can be found at www.zcdf.org.
Registration is available online. Running or walking the 5K will be a $30 registration fee for each participant. At a.m., registration will open at the starting location, at the Kane County Court House, 100 S. Third Street in Geneva. A.C.K.’s Chef Roby is the only pastry chef in the world to hold three Guinness World Records: “World’s Tallest Cooked Sugar Building”, “World’s Tallest Chocolate Sculpture” and “World’s Longest Candy Cane.” Chef Roby’s work has been featured in numerous print and television media from Food & Wine magazine to the Food Network.
