Price Hike on Some Starbucks Coffee Drinks Set to Start Tuesday
The coffee giant has not released how much of a hike or which drinks would see a price increase.

Coffee giant Starbucks will hike prices on some of its drinks starting this week
Some of the increases could be as much as thirty cents. The new prices - which won't be on all drinks - go into effect Tuesday, July 12. The last increases came last July.

Starbucks was forced to announce the "small price increase" on July 2 after the price adjustment was prematurely entered into the point of sale systems in its U.S. company-operated stores .As a result, some customers were charged incorrectly, according to the news release.
Starbucks has not released which drinks would cost more and how much of an increase would be in place for some of its drinks.

On the eve of the price hike, Starbucks announced it would give out raises of at least 5 percent for employees in thousands of stores around the country effective this October.
The announcement was made in a letter to employees from CEO Howard Schultz.
"Earning your trust as partners has always been a foundational principle for me," Schultz wrote. "The world around us is increasingly fragile.
"Our commitment to you is not."
