Randall Road Rollover Crash: No Injuries Reported, Geneva Police Say
A Subaru driver was looking for an address on Randall Road when she didn't see the red light and crashed into another car, officials said.
GENEVA, IL — No injuries were reported in Tuesday afternoon's rollover crash on Randall Road, Geneva police said.
At 3:34 p.m., officers responded to the crash at the intersection of South Randall Road and Gleneagle Drive when they learned a Subaru driver was looking for an address on Randall Road when she didn't notice the red light and crashed into another car, officials said.
The car, a green 2011 Forester, was traveling south on Randall Road when the driver entered the left turn lane onto Gleneagle Drive, where traffic was stopped at a red light. At that time, a gray 2022 Honda Accord was driving east on Gleneagle, facing a green turn arrow to turn and travel north on Randall Road, according to police.

The Accord driver entered the intersection to begin turning left when the Subaru disregarded the light and hit the rear-ended of the Accord's driver's side, police said.
Officials said the impact forced the Accord to spin and end up in the middle of the intersection. At the same time, the Subaru continued east and eventually hit the pedestrian signal on the southeast corner of the intersection before crashing into a second pedestrian signal in the northeast corner.

Due to the curb and pedestrian signal's impact on the car, it rolled over onto the driver's side. The driver was able to open the rear hatch and crawl out of the car unharmed, according to police.
Both drivers refused medical treatment, officials said. Geneva police provided each with a ride home following the crash.
Randall Road was closed to both directions of traffic for about two hours while investigated the crash.
