State Street Lane To Close Thursday For Storm Sewer Repair

The roadway is expected to reopen prior to evening rush hour traffic, officials said.

GENEVA, IL — A portion of westbound State Street will be reduced to one lane Thursday as crews work on a storm sewer repair project, officials said.

State Street from Crissey Avenue to Route 25 will close starting at 9 a.m. and is expected to reopen prior to evening rush hour traffic, according to city officials. Eastbound lanes will remain open.
