Girls from Strikers Fox Valley Soccer Club were recent attendees at the FIFA Women’s World Cup finals in Vancouver. Emily Hauser, Brooke Polignone, Maddy Rapuch-Lagowski, Ella Struwing, and Ari Walters were finalists at the Chicago Nike No Maybes 4v4 tournament. They qualified to travel to Vancouver for the Nike North American finals, which were held on July 4th in Canada. They played against teams from New York City, Los Angeles, and Vancouver and experienced a tour at the Nike Underground. The girls also enjoyed a tour of Vancouver and had PHENOMENAL seats to the World Cup finals on July 5th. The girls, accompanied by Coach Anne Poulin, experienced the training experience of a lifetime from Nike and got to witness history in the making when they watched the U.S. defeat Japan!
