Students, Teachers To Showcase 21st Century Learning

The event, dubbed the "GenOvation Forum," will be on Tuesday, Nov. 14.

GENEVA, IL - From the Geneva Community Unit School District 304: The Geneva Board of Education invites the community to the 2017 GenOvation Forum on Tuesday, Nov. 14, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Geneva High School (416 McKinley Ave.).

The event is a chance for residents of Geneva School District to see how their investments in education through their tax dollars are helping to prepare Geneva's young people for the future.

Teachers and students from across the district will be demonstrating some of the innovative learning practices that are helping Geneva achieve its vision of developing self-directed, lifelong learners; effective communicators; complex creative, and adaptive thinkers; and collaborative and productive citizens.

Residents can stop in any time between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to explore "innovation stations" and speak with students and teachers. Geneva Board of Education members also will be on hand to answer questions.
