Safe Haven Dog Rescue is an all foster based rescue. That means we have no shelter, and can only save dogs if we have foster homes to place them in.

These 3 dogs (and maybe more) are arriving 11/15 and Safe Haven Dog Rescue is in need of foster or forever homes.

There is room to bring a few more...but foster commitment is needed first.

Do you work fulltime? That’s okay too! Although the puppies or dogs will be alone while you work, that is much better than the alternative of being in the shelter...or worse!

While you foster, we pay all expenses from vetting, to food and we provide a crate, leash, collars, and toys. Your family provides love (something the pups desperately needs) and a safe place to lay their head until they find a forever home.

We request that you have the ability to take your foster to routine veterinary visits at our participating vets. These vets are located in Wheaton, Naperville, and Elmhurst. Spay/Neuters are done in North Aurora.

Fostering is the most life giving thing you can do for a dog or puppy! It is a very rewarding experience that will make a huge impact on their life. And if your foster dog turns out to be the perfect fit for our family, you will have the first option to adopt.
