Third Street Intersections In Downtown Geneva To Close For Repairs
The Geneva Public Works Department will be repairing the roadway surface where the asphalt meets the concrete curbs on several side streets.

GENEVA, IL — A few intersections along downtown Geneva's Third Street will close to accommodate repairs this week.
The Geneva Public Works Department will be repairing the roadway surface where the asphalt meets the concrete curbs on several side streets approaching Third Street: Franklin Street, Fulton Street and Crescent Place. Third Street will remain open throughout construction.
Work started on the west side of Third Street with Crescent Place and Fulton Street on Monday. Repairs on Franklin Street will start Tuesday. Operations will shift to the east side of Third Street at Fulton and Franklin streets later in the week, officials said.

Each cross street will be closed for up to one day, officials said, and work is expected to be completed Friday.
Officials said the project's timeline is weather department and directed residents with questions to the Public Works Department at 630-232-1501.

Similar work will take place on South Street at Third Street, but city officials said the project has been incorporated as part of Geneva's Street Improvement Program.
