Time to Ring in Holidays With Christmas Walk, House Tours in Geneva

The festivities will get underway Friday and continue through Saturday.

It’s time for Geneva to ring in the hoilidays.

This year’s Christmas Walk will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday on south Third Street across from the courthouse. The Christmas House Tour will held on Friday and Saturday with several other events happening throughout the weekend.

The festivities begin at 6 p.m. Friday with the arrival of Santa Lucia, the first candy cane of the season, and Santa lighting the great tree. The fun will continue with roasted chestnuts, strolling carolers, a live nativity and free carriage rides on Saturday and Sunday.

On December 4 and 5, you can tour five spectacular homes decked with boughs of holly and festive Christmas décor. The house tours will be held from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
