Train to Be A Guiding Lights Mentor on August 4th

This mentorship training session will better equip you with tools to help advocate for those in our community who need a positive influence

do-over.me, the Tri-City’s premiere nonprofit coaching center, will present Guiding Lights Training at 611 Stevens Street in Geneva on August 4th, 2018 from 9 AM--12 PM, featuring Dr. Tiza Pyle and do-over.me’s founder, Cynthia Kay Wade.

do-over.me is proud to bring Guiding Lights Training to Geneva for the first time. Guiding Lights Mentor Training Session at do-over.me was created as a way to provide that extra measure of support to all during those difficult times of change. As a volunteer in this program, you can become a much-needed source of support to people who would welcome a partner that can be there when you need somebody to keep you going. This unique relationship is designed to help illuminate the innate potential for positive change in people and provide practical tools that can be used by all in their career and life journey.

A Guiding Light is a "Friend," a personal companion and a point of contact who will support our members on their do-over transformation. As a trusted advisor, a Guiding Light will act as a "Mentor" helping guide our members through the do-over process. Most importantly, a Guiding Light will "advocate" by encouraging and representing the best interests of our members in our community.

This event is free and open to the public. It is an educational training session for those looking to promote kindness, guidance, and friendship to those in our community who are in need of validation and acceptance. This program is coordinated by Dr. Tiza Pyle, director of Client Services at do-over.me, and Cynthia Kay Wade, do-over.me’s founder.

This program was conceptualized from this quote by Albert Schweitzer: “Sometimes our light goes out, but is blown again into flame by encounter with another human being. Each of us owes the deepest thanks to those who have rekindled this inner light.”
