UUSG welcomes new assistant minister, renews commitment to religious education

The Rev. Scott Talbot Lewis will join the Unitarian Universalist Society of Geneva (UUSG) as the new Assistant Minister

The Rev. Scott Talbot Lewis will join the Unitarian Universalist Society of Geneva (UUSG) as the new Assistant Minister for Lifespan Religious Education on September 1, 2015.
Lewis brings six years of ministerial experience and more than two decades of working with children, youth and families both in religious communities and as a youth services librarian.
Lewis’s hiring represents a major commitment to expanding and enhancing religious education programs at UUSG. “We welcome Scott and this new and exciting chapter for our church,” UUSG Senior Minister, the Rev. Dr. Lindsay Bates, said. “Our religious education program was already one of our strengths and Scott’s enthusiasm and expertise will further enhance the opportunities for our members and their families.”
Lewis said, “I’m thrilled to join the UUSG community and build on the nurturing and thought-provoking programming for both children and adults.”
UUSG provides classes, study groups, and other spiritual exploration opportunities for all ages. More information is available at http://www.uusg.org/religious-education/.
