The museum is looking for vendors for its Native American Cultural Day and Bison Blessing and Day of the Dead events in October.

ELGIN, IL – Vendors are sought for the annual free Native American Cultural Day and Bison Blessing held in October at the Elgin Public Museum, 225 Grand Boulevard in Elgin. Visitors to the Oct. 6 event, which will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., can see Sal Redhawk's authentic lodge and "talk to him as he cooks over a fire," according to a Facebook event post. Joseph Standing Bear will perform the traditional blessing of the Lords Park bison at noon.
The Elgin Public Museum is also seeking vendors for its Oct. 28 Day of the Dead event.
