Volleyball Team Defeats Streamwood
Geneva beats Streamwood in two sets and ups overall record to 17-11.
The Geneva Vikings volleyball team defeated UEC River Division opponent Streamwood tonight in two matches, 25-10, 25 -17.
Streamwood couldn't get past the Vikings' solid defense, especially Riley Sullivan, who tallied 12 digs, 10 kills, and 3 aces.
Senior Brooke Binette also had a big night, racking up 10 digs, 2 blocks, 4 kills, and 2 aces. Ashley Bosner scored 13 points, 2 kills and a block.

The Vikings are at a 17-11 overall, 2-3 in the UEC River Division, trying to gain momentum as they move closer to the Class 4A Geneva regional on Oct. 30.
The Vikings play next at 6 p.m. Thursday at home against Rosary.
