Volleyball Team has Memorable Senior Rec Night
Geneva defeats Elgin during senior recognition night in two sets.

The Vikings had a victorious Senior Recognition night against Elgin High School tonight in a UEC River Division match.
Geneva beat Elgin in two sets, 25-10, 25-10.
Ashley Boser, Brooke Binette, Brooke Morphis, Riley Sullivan, Holly Stimac, and Sarah Duever all celebrated in what will be one of their last games as a Geneva Vikings volleyball player.

All six seniors were able to play in both sets tonight and successfully come together to earn a victory. The second set, which the Vikings won 25-10, was played entirely by the seniors.
"It was a great win for our seniors," head coach KC Johnsen said.

Brooke Binette once again led the Vikings with ten kills, eight digs, and three points. Ashley Boser also had a big night with nine digs, five aces, and eight points.
Assistant coach Jaime Spolum was happy with the girls' performance, especially on such a memorable night.
"Every senior had an outstanding performance," she said. "It was a memorable night."
Also contributing to Geneva's conference victory were senior Brooke Morphis with two blocks, 15 assists, and seven digs and Riley Sullivan with seven kills and five digs.
The Vikings will be heading into the playoffs after this weekend's Kaneland Invitational and currently are at a 19-11 record with a 3-3 conference record.
Geneva plays in the last match of the regular season this Saturday at 9:00 at the Kaneland Invitational.
