This is what representation is all about.

Charlotte asked "How can I meet Lauren Underwood?"

I am one of the organizers for the Geneva Bridge Brigade. Our group has been working for two years to get better Congressional Representation for the 14th district. A few weeks ago, while the traffic lulled, a little red-headed girl yelled out of her car window...Yeah for Lauren! I yelled, "come join us" and a few minutes later, she and her dad came walking towards the bridge! She had her Underwood sign in hand and waved it at the passing traffic like her health and education depended on it! Last week, she came up to me with her dad and said "how can I meet Lauren Underwood?"....hmmm, I wasn't sure, because she is usually out of the campaign office walking and knocking doors when I am there....so I thought if we took a picture of her and put it all over facebook, we might be able to get hooked up....so we took a picture! At that moment, there was a hubbub down the rally line towards the west. I heard murmurs....Lauren is here!!!! I said to Charlotte, LET'S GO, I have a surprise! We got to the end and who was there? Lauren. Charlotte was absolutely ecstatic. I do not work miracles, this is why she was here: we have been rallying for nearly 2 years, preparing the way for a good candidate....she heard about it and came to thank each and everyone of us personally....that is the miracle. I am so proud to be working for her...and Charlotte will definately be running for something in about 16 years...she knows what is good in this world and wants to make it better!
