Wild, Courageous Joy!

Moms Connected- September 24 from 9:15-11:15 am

Moms of teens and tweens are invited to join Julie Barnhill as she presents The Stoopid Years: Sticking with Teens through Wonky Hormones, Suspect Behavior, and Painful Indifference. Julie couples personal mom/teen experience with raw honesty, developmental insights and much needed humor. Learn why we need to let our teens “off the hook”-as well as ourselves, and identify the “stoopid” ruts of communication that happen between parents and teens. Julie will equip us to show up emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and physically for our teens-despite “stoopid” behavior on both our parts! Julie is a popular keynote speaker, sought after media guest and dynamic radio personality. Her hilarious delivery and authentic confessions paired with knowledge in biblical truth has taken her to thirty-three states and four continents. She is also the author of eleven books including Confessions of an Imperfect Mom and Raising Kids with Love and Limits. Julie is the mother of two adult children and one nearly so and lives with her husband of 28 years in southern Illinois.
