Arriving Saturday 8/20 -
Our Tennessee shelter partner is making a special transport to northern Illinois to help free up some kennels so they can minimize the number of dogs that will be euthanized this week.
I pulled 2 dogs to come to us for the next "regular" transport, but they are now coming sooner, in face THIS Satruday!
Stewie looks like the guy from Ice Age, with that smile on his face! 100%Mutt!

He is a sweet boy that loves to be loved...he deserves the chance to have his very own family that he will love forever.
Peanut is a hound mix that wants to give and get love. He found himself abandoned in Tennessee. Unfortunately this happens often in that state, when a dog is not a stellar hunter, or a family just has too many dogs, they either turn them loose or take them to the shelter. Fortunately for Peanut, this shelter tries very hard to find rescue for the dogs that come through their doors.
They tell us that Peanut gets along great with other dogs and loves everyone! He will make an excellent addition to any family.

All of our foster homes are given first chance to adopt the dog they foster. It's a nice way to see if the dog fits in with your family/lifestyle.
