GLEN ELLYN, IL — Lane closures are set to take effect on part of Roosevelt Road amid a resurfacing project that's expected to last into November.
The lane closures will take place between from just east of Nicoll Road in Glen Ellyn to just west of Finley Road in Lombard. Closures will be in effect intermittently during daytime hours and occasionally overnight.
The work, which was set to start Monday, May 11, is part of a $4.3 million project that also includes replacing medians and building sidewalk ramps that are ADA compliant.
Commuters are advised to mind traffic flaggers and to expect delays and take alternative routes when possible.
