GLEN ELLYN, IL — Sunset Pool is now open for the 2026 season.
This year, Sensory Swim Nights will be held on June 11, July 14 and Aug. 10 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. During these events, water features, music and non-emergency whistles will be off to accommodate swimmers with sensory sensitivities.
Below is the Sunset Pool schedule through July 2026. Hours will change again in August and as Labor Day approaches.
May 26 through May 29
6 a.m. to 7 a.m.: Adult lap swim
11 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Adult lap swim
12 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: Open swim
May 30 through July 29 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
6 a.m. to 7 a.m.: Adult lap swim
11 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Adult lap swim
12 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: Open swim
6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: Adult lap swim
May 30 through July 29 on Wednesdays
6 a.m. to 7 a.m.: Adult lap swim
11 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Adult lap swim
12 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Open swim
May 30 through July 29 on Saturdays and Sundays
8 a.m. to 10 a.m.: Adult lap swim
8 a.m. to 10 a.m.: Adult/Tot Wade Pool only
12 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: Open swim
6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: Adult lap swim
July 30 through Aug. 11, Monday through Friday
6 a.m. to 8 a.m.: Adult lap swim
11 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Adult lap swim
12 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: Open swim
6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: Adult lap swim
July 30 through Aug. 11, Saturday and Sunday
8 a.m. to 10 a.m.: Adult lap swim

Sunset Pool admission is $12 for adult residents and $15 for nonresidents before 5 p.m. After 5 p.m., admission is $7 for adult residents and $9 for nonresidents.
For children ages three to 17 years old, admission is $9 for residents and $12 for nonresidents before 5 p.m. After 5 p.m., admission for this age group is $5 for residents and $7 for non residents.
Seniors 60 and older who are residents pay $8 before 5 p.m. and $4 after 5 p.m. Senior nonresidents pay $11 before 5 p.m. and $6 after 5 p.m.
On Sensory Swim Nights, admission is $3 for residents and $4 for nonresidents.
