Kids Color Run Fun Bash Comes To Ackerman Park In August

GLEN ELLYN, IL — During the Glen Ellyn Park District's Color Run Fun Bash, kids are supposed to get messy. During the race, set for Aug. 8, racers will run through bursts of colorful powder as they dash through Ackerman Park.

The 1.25-mile race is geared toward children ages four to 10 years old, with competitors split into the following age groups:

• Four to five years old
• Six to seven years old
• Eight to 10 years old

The top three racers in each bracket will win an award.
