GLEN ELLYN, IL — The Glen Ellyn Plan Commission will hold a public hearing on Aug. 27 for a special use permit that would allow a new beauty boutique downtown The Parlor hopes to bring its high-end micro-boutique beauty salon concept to the former Alla Moda Boutique spot at 524 Duane St.
Petitioners are planning to specialize in "premium hair color, styling and extensions," according to village documents. Tey also plan to have a retail section to sell "luxury, eco-friendly hair care brands."
The Plan Commission meeting is set for Thursday at 7 p.m
